A Spanish championship is a place where, in addition to seeing the future promises of this sport, the eyes are focused on the elite competition. For many years we have had and still have the best riders in the world and that means that the eyes of the fans and even of the rivals themselves , are fixed on Benito, Abel or Dani Comas among others.
This Spanish Championship that has continued to be the case, with Abel and Benito being the two most followed, but something was taking some of that attention. The Monty M5 of the world’s No. 2 arouses passions. Admittedly, it’s the first bike with a carbon chassis and that’s something to talk about and attract attention. There were many photos that were taken of Abel’s machine but we were able to be with him and even give a few boats with the same bike that the rider would compete hours later, a detail that we thank him enormously.
We share a chat with Abel about what this model is and will be , since it does not carry the standard model but an exclusive version that will be marketed and that will be called Monty M5 AMG Edition.
Special Edition
This special edition will change a bit from the stock bike. The first change will be the décor of the bike. The aesthetics of the AMG are truly sublime, with a vinyl-based décor in shades of white, red and black. You can choose the bike with a disc or HS option and if you choose rim brake the hubs will be without a disc option to make it lighter.
The titanium lacing and the AMG-prepared rims with oversized holes. The brakes will also be bled so that you are riding the exact same bike as WildWolf rider Abel Mustieles.
Only 6.4 kilos
No doubt the M5 will be a luxury bike but this edition will go a step further as it will be Abel Mustieles himself who supervises and prepares each model AMG Edition that leaves the store. This edition can only be purchased at AMG Bikes, the shop that Abel himself runs and that provides personalized attention in all its products and in this bike in particular which you can already pre-order.
During the Spanish Championship we have been able to give some boats with this edition weighing only 6.4 kg and we have been amazed with the weight and sensations it offers.
We really can’t wait to do a full test of one of the most anticipated bikes of recent years.
