in Robregordo together with Bourgat Gilles Bourgat, world champion in 1981 with SWM, has already accepted the invitation to take part in this new edition of the Two International Days of Robregordo.
But this year, with the creation of the team trophy, MC Sotobike wanted to go further and why not, in that dream team we had to count on Martin Lampkin.
Martin, who had been wanting to take part in this race for several years, could not have done so at a better time, when Robregordo reaches his maximum expression. This year’s edition is possibly the most beautiful and longest-running of those organized so far.
Martin Lampkin won the title of European Champion in 1973 and in 1975 he won the world title, in his first edition with Bultaco. He won the Scottish three times in a row (1976 to 1978), won the British championship three times in a row and won the legendary Scott Trial four times.
During these years, we have been able to see him as a luxury backpacker of his son Dougie in countless tests, but being able to see him perform the Robregordo areas, will undoubtedly be something very special for all trial fans, especially Bultaco fans.
After this magnificent news, we would like to inform you that registration for the trial will soon open on a new website that we are preparing.
Remember, you will be able to take part with any autonomous licence but you will have to register before 14 May or until the bibs run out and the test, It cannot be followed freely, so we invite you to participate or accompany a friend as a backpacker.
The license for this trial only has a cost of 30 euros. Is anyone going to miss out?
