Kuroyama and his Yamaha TYS 250Fi start the season

The Japanese national championship returns to action this coming weekend. The event was due to start last March, but Covid19 restrictions have forced a postponement that is now coming to an end.

One of the main favourites is Kenichi Kuroyama, one of the most charismatic drivers on the scene today. Kuroyama, who has already competed in the Trial-E World Championship at the controls of an electric Yamaha
TYE
, is back on the Yamaha TYS 250Fi to try to fight for his 12th Japanese national title.

The Japanese rider has been participating in this competition since 1990 and won his last title in 2012. His bike, the Yamaha, is a bike that attracts attention more for its spectacular aesthetics, than for the modernity of its chassis and mechanics.

We remind you that the Yamaha TYS 250Fi is inspired by what in the European market was the Scorpa SY 250F, with an engine from a Yamaha WR 250.
