The Spanish Trial Championship has returned to action this weekend in Entrimo, Ourense. Since July there has been no race in this discipline and the riders were already looking forward to seeing each other again. The TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior and Cadet categories have been the protagonists of this weekend in Galicia.
Yesterday, in qualifying, Toni Bou was the fastest executing each of the obstacles exceptionally. Jaime Busto was second and Gabriel Marcelli, very motivated to race on his home turf, third. In TR2 Martín Riobó, who is also Galician, made the best time leaving Eric Miquel and Sergio Ribau as second and third, respectively.
The race has been organized by the Moto Club Trial Entrimo preparing some very beautiful areas, most of them dry stones with a lot of grip, a total of 12, with the typical terrain of the northwest of Spain and that has put all the participants to the test. The audience also enjoyed it and, in general, the event was a success.
BUSTO TAKES HIS FIRST CET WIN WITH VERTIGO
Jaime Busto caused a surprise in Entrimo by taking the victory in TR1 ahead of Toni Bou. The rider from Vertigo has added a total of 12 penalties compared to the 14 of the rider from Montesa, who is still leading the general standings, and the 19 of Miquel Gelabert who has sneaked into the top three.
In TR2 Pablo Suárez, Sergio Ribau and Eric Miquel were the three best while in TR3 Marc Horrach, Carlos Monreal and Josep Segui were the best. In TR4, Sergio Puyo, Héctor Gairin and Jordi Ramonet have climbed the podium.
PAU MARTINEZ AND GAUDÍ VALL IN JUNIOR AND CADET
Pau Martinez has surpassed the rest of his Junior rivals after having 11 feet. Raúl Guimera with 24 and Jordi Lestang with 35 were second and third, respectively. In Cadet, Gaudí Vall has climbed to the top step, only distanced by one point with David Fabián who has remained second. Mateu Crespi rounded out the top three.
The next round of the SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship will be held on October 6 in Sigüenza, Guadalajara, with the same categories that competed this Sunday. But first, remember, that in just 6 days the last round of the TrialGP will take place in La Nucía, Alicante.
