Ib Andersen wins in La Nucia | CET National Trial

The Alicante municipality of La Nucía has been the scene for the third consecutive year of the start of the SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship, a competition that this 2017 will have a total of nine tests.

A total of 99 drivers took part in this first round of 2017.
The TR1 category will make its debut at the next event: Mancor de la Vall (Mallorca), on March 19.

The SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship 2017 it has once again had its starting point in the Alicante town of La Nucía, and it has done so again with all the categories convened except TR1; level that will officially debut in the Mallorcan municipality of Mancor de la Vall, the next test, in the middle of next month.

This has been the eighth time, third in a row, in which this municipality has hosted a valid test for the National of the specialty after the seasons 2006 (2), 2007, 2008, 2013, 2015 and 2016.
Those in charge of bringing this first challenge of 2017 to a successful conclusion have been the Motorcycling Federation of the Valencian Community and the MC Off Road Team La Nucía, who have once again prepared a route with a total of 15 zones – 12 for TR2, 11 for Junior, TR3, TR4, Cadet and Women’s A and 10 for the rest of the categories – to be overcome in two laps and with a maximum time of 5 hours very similar to that seen in recent years.

That is, areas of dry earth and dust, with the odd root to be avoided, and the occasional section with loose stone among pine trees. All of them are very easy to access for the public and in the vicinity of the Ciutat Esportiva Camilo Cano de La Nucía, where the paddock was located for another edition.
On a sporting level, the winning riders today and, therefore, the first leaders of the SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship 2017, were as follows: Ib Andersen, in TR2; Rodrigo Marchal, in Junior; David Millán, in TR3; Àlex Canales, in Cadet; Adrià Albejano, in TR4; Berta Abellán, in Female A; Eva Muñoz, in Female B; Esther Sánchez, in Female C; Javier Palau, in Veterano; Carlos Palma, in Juvenil A; and Roger Casas, in Juvenil B.

The next round of the SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship 2017 will be held on March 19 in the Balearic town of Mancor de la Vall, in Mallorca, under the organization of the Moto Club Zona Gas. In it, the TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior and Cadet categories will take the start; levels that will be joined by TR1.
