Beta Motor has announced the signing of Hugo Dufrese for the upcoming 2025 season.
He is one of the first new signings in the top category of TrialGP, where several changes are expected to take place for next year.
Hugo Dufrese is a French rider who has raced for the last two years as a private rider at the controls of a 2022 GASGAS TXT, resisting the model launched by the brand in 2023. His results have been frankly good in this 2024 season both in the French national and in the world championship, especially if we take into account his status as a private driver.
This new opportunity to get behind the controls of an official bike like the BETA EVO FACTORY is a revulsion for the rider and also the outstanding presence of the brand in an important country for its image, such as France.
It is possible that this signing will imply changes in the structure of the top flight. There is talk that there are talks with Jaime Busto and that Matteo Grattarola, current number one of the brand, could end up in Trial2 with the electric Honda RTL.
What is clear is that Beta Motor is targeting young promises, such as the Hemingway brothers, who have already renewed for the Italian brand.
