Emma Bristow takes two key victories at the Japanese GP

The Women’s Trial World Championship arrived at Motegi in the same circumstances as the top category of TrialGP: with a double tie at the top of the general classification.

With two wins and two second places similarly distributed between Berta Abellán and Emma Bristow, whatever happened in Japan It would be very important, as there do not seem to be other riders who are at the same level as the favourites, preventing the races from being more open and being able to mark wider distances in the standings.

On the first day of the race, Emma Bristow put in a great performance, with a first lap where she practically sealed the race by scoring a partial that was half of her great rival. Berta had a great second lap, practically equalling Emma’s partial, but without a margin to be able to get close to her overall record. The podium on Saturday was completed by Alice Minta.

On the second day of the race , the scores dropped sharply compared to the first day, narrowing the result between the two favourites to just two points (12 points and 14 points). The podium was completed on this occasion by the Italian Andrea Rabino.

Emma Bristow now has a four-point lead over Berta Abellán. Andrea Rabino also consolidates his position in third place, although far from the leading duo.

The next round of TrialGP Women will be on June 10 and 11 in San Marino.
