Bristow and Abellan headline the Women’s Tropy Barcelona 2022

On April 10, the second edition of the Women’s Trophy, which began last season in the same city, will take place at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

The line-up for this edition of the women’s indoor championship has already been confirmed and Emma Bristow, current world champion, and Berta Abellan, runner-up, will have the chance to headline the line-up and compete again for the title.

Bristow and Abellán fought an exciting duel in the premiere last year of this competition, the first women’s indoor trial in history. Won Sherco’s for one point… but the Spaniard wants to change things: “I’m preparing conscientiously and in a special way for the indoor in Barcelona and I’m going to win. If the areas are a bit more difficult than last year’s, that’s perfect for me,” said the woman from Terrassa.

Sandra Gómez from Madrid will repeat her participation in Barcelona with her TRS and the French Naomi Monnier who will compete with a Beta. The quintet will be completed by the Italian Andrea Sofia Rabino, current Trial2 Women world champion, who replaces the Norwegian Ingveig Hakonsen, who is out due to injury.
