Bou and Cabes play for the title on Sunday

bou_acc_480Just a few days after Bou was mathematically proclaimed Spanish Indoor Trial Champion, after the cancellation of the third and final race, the rider from Piera They will try to close a new year with a full complement of titles this Sunday November 29 in Cal Rosal (Olvan), a scenario that, for the third consecutive year, ends the Spanish Trial Championship.

The excitement is at its highest, as Bou arrives with a slight three-point advantage over his main adversary, Albert Cabestany , who is important, but not decisive. Another rider who can enter that title war is Jeroni Fajardo, although his chances are truly remote, as he is five points behind the Sherco rider. The one who already has all the options lost is Adam Raga, who is fourteen points behind Bou and eleven behind Cabestany.

The key to this race will once again be in the difficulty of the sections. If Bou fails, as he did in Peñarroya, and Cabestany wins, the tables would turn. Throughout this season we have seen how small mistakes have been the protagonists of the classifications, since all the “top” ended in a fist. The blame for this low competitiveness, both technically and in terms of registrations, is blamed on the Openfree regulation, which has been a real disaster for all parties involved. Next year, fortunately, there will be a return to the traditional rules.

In the TR2 category Jorge Casales has everything in his favor to take the championship in his first year in the category, thanks to the good advantage he accumulates over Marcos Méndez and Carles Traviesa. Victor Beltrán is mathematically TR3 champion and the excitement is in the runner-up position, with Jordi Sanjuan, David Darnés and Enric Tordera separated by just four points. In Junior Oriol Noguera is also mathematically champion, followed by Jaime Busto with 103, despite the fact that neither of them was in Peñarroya. Nacho Fernández Sancho is third and is playing with David León for the podium.

Fans will also have the opportunity to follow this event with their own motorcycle, with a special accreditation for supporters. This pass will cost €5.00. In addition, large parking areas will be located for the public, near the start of the race.

The first participant will leave at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday 27th and at 3:30 p.m. the trophy ceremony will take place.
