Beta EVO and REV3 clutch adjustment

beta_embrague_480The lucky owners of a Beta EVO or REV3 know well that the clutch is one of the most delicate points of the bike. Delicate, above all, in the touch, as it is very fast and in just a few millimeters the power delivery has to be modulated.

Beta Japan has had the great idea of sharing an explanatory video of how to disassemble and adjust this clutch, something that is relatively simple and can be done with a little skill and care. The objective is none other than to adjust the mechanical play of the clutch, which due to wear and tear needs to be checked to maintain the correct pressure of the equipment.

The video below is in Japanese, but it’s very intuitive and easy to follow all the steps. However, for those of you who have advanced knowledge of mechanics and want to leave your comment on this article, we encourage you to collaborate.

It is important to note that the technical manoeuvre is carried out on an EVO 2T. Before getting down to work on a 4T, it’s best to consult with a specialist first
