Lately, the specialty of Trial is on everyone’s lips and with the new president of the RFME, Àngel Viladoms, and with his board of directors there have been many changes. Regarding the Classics Trial, an experienced person who lives the modality from the inside, Jordi Villalba, is the new delegate of the RFME. In addition to the reduction in the cost of licenses, in 2013 the marking elements for the trials will be made available to the Motorcycle Clubs, favoring their work to organize the races. Likewise, the price of the registrations will also help the participation of the athletes.
As for the calendar, the tests will be held over two days to guarantee quality trials, as the Spanish Cup of Classic Trials deserves. The dates and cities for 2013 will be published in the coming days.
Another novelty that the Trial will have is the incorporation of coefficients or handicaps, already used in other trials. Given the good acceptance of the coefficients, The “pre” categories have been cancelled, in order to award the corresponding coefficients based on the age and originality of the motorcycles. In this way, no one is excluded from any classification, but The oldest bikes are awarded and it will be each rider who decides in which level (yellow, green or blue) they want to participate. regardless of which bike they choose.
Soon there will be a technical sheet to download on the RFME website, which must be completed to verify correctly. If it is not filled in, the highest correction coefficient will be applied. Riders will be able to submit up to a maximum of five motorcycle data sheets per year.
