Alfredo Gomez is already competing on a Gas Gas 300

gomez_gg_480Confirming once again the credibility of Trialworld in all its communications and informative advances , we confirm that, as we published in this news of February 7, Alfredo Gómez will definitively abandon his Montesa and compete on the back of a Gas Gas TXT Pro 300 Racing.

As regular readers of Trialworld know, Alfredo received the news that Montesa would not have his services in 2012 on December 13th, leaving the rider from Cercedilla with no margin of reaction to look for a new team and continue his progression in the top category.

Since then, the only thing Alfredo has found is the support of Husaberg to compete in Enduro, where he has already had great performances in the National Enduro and extreme events.

Therefore the reigning JR World Champion, will only participate sporadically in Trial competitions throughout 2012. In all of them, it will do so on its new Gas Gas TXT Pro 300 Racing, the result of a support between Gas Gas and Difrenos formalized last Friday, April 6.

According to Alfredo: “From Friday I’m going to run trials with Gas Gas, although I don’t know how many or which ones I’ll race. Of course, in all the ones I took part in it will be with my Gas Gas TXT Pro 300 Racing, with which I also won yesterday the first day of the 3DTS and today I finished third with only two points. There’s still one day to go and I’m still leading the race.”

About his new bike and the support received, Alfredo said: “I’m very happy with how I’m doing, because in a very few hours I’ve got hold of this bike, where everything is very new to me and it’s still difficult for me to feel comfortable. I want to thank Difrenos and Gas Gas for giving me this opportunity to go to race trials and supporting both me and my sister Sandra Gómez, who is doing better every day.”
