Adam Raga, born in Tarragona in 1982, has been incombustible since then and today remains one of the great favourites to fight every race and championship against his greatest rival, Toni Bou, the best rider of all time.

, in 2015 the brand went into bankruptcyand the rider from Tarragona was forced to look for new alternatives, but not without suffering disruptions for a good part of the season. Finally he landed at TRS , a new brand where one of his partners is Jordi Tarrés, an old acquaintance of Adam’s and a person of great confidence for the pilot.

Four grands prix of the 2022 season have been contested, Adam Raga has already achieved important milestones in TRS, such as finishing second in the initial 4 rounds of the X-Trial.

THE BEGINNINGS OF ADAM RAGA

Adam Raga Sans was born in Spain on April 6, 1982. He made his debut in the world of motorcycles when he was only 6 years old and made his debut in his first trial with a Mecatecno in the Martorellas challenge.

From that moment on, Raga began to combine his school hours with training and competitions. In 1995, he won the Catalan cadet trial championship and two years later the Spanish championship. In 1998, Raga began to establish himself as a promising young player in Spain and in 2000 he won his first World Championship in the Junior category.

Three years later, Raga decided to dedicate himself to trial professionally, becoming champion of the Indoor Trial World Championship in his first year of competition.

In the outdoor modality, he achieved fourth place. In 2004, he would repeat the feat of winning the title in the indoor specialty but could only finish third in the general classification in the outdoor specialty.

In 2005 and 2006, the two best years of the Tarragona rider would arrive as Raga would manage to win the world titles in outdoor and indoor categories.
From 2007, Raga began to compete in all competitions with Toni Bou and a knee injury in 2009 forced him to stop his sporting career for a year. After his recovery, Adam Raga continued to fight for victory in each competition, becoming champion of Spain that same year.

Adam Raga has been part of the Gas Gas team throughout his sporting career, developing year after year what today we can define as one of the most competitive motorcycles on the market. In May 2015, he had to face one of the most complicated moments of his sporting career.
“One morning I went to take the official photos of the season with Gas Gas and that same afternoon they told me that the World Cup was over for us.”

The Girona brand went into bankruptcy and its capitalist partners stopped financing the racing team. Raga was suddenly confronted with a bleak picture. With the World Championship started, without a bike and forced to cover all the expenses out of his pocket to continue in the competition. He launched an S.O.S. through social media to find a savior and managed to continue his season until September 2015 when he signed for a new team led by Jordi Tarres driving the revolutionary new TRS One.
