Beta Rev3 270 2003
The 2002 Beta Rev3, recently proclaimed World Champion at the hands of Albert Cabestany, gave way to a 2003 Beta Rev3 much improved in performance. Among the most relevant details we find a new shock absorber and fork, as well as a cover on the fender for easy access and replacement of the air filter.

Technical news Beta Rev 3 2003

* Exhaust manifold: Reduction of material thickness to reduce weight and improve performance.

* End Muler: Modified muffler attachment to bring it closer to the rear fender for better rigidity.

* Exhaust protection: New carbon fiber protector that is more enveloping.

* Previous fork: Modified hydraulic spring tarry, and new more racing finish.

* Shock absorber: Completely redesigned to reduce weight and improve functionality. The separate gas reservoir has been removed and added to the shock absorber body.

* Shock absorbing baffle: Made of plastic in order to guide the air and allow a correct cooling of the shock absorber body.

* Rear wheel: Lighter, newly designed hub, crown and disc.

* Rear Brake: Modified lever design to improve lever functionality and reduce shock exposure.

* Access to the air filter: Completely modified to be able to easily remove the filter for maintenance: it only requires two screws.

* Fenders: Modified design to allow housing of filter cover and air intakes.

* Engine: Reduction of the weight of the crankshaft while maintaining the same inertial effect.

* Gearbox: Completely revised with a more effective distribution of the first, third and fourth gears.

* Cooling system: Introduction of changes in the circuit with the realization of a new water pump body that allows better performance and stability of the operating temperature of the engine.

* Clutch cover: Cast in magnesium to reduce weight.

* Ignition: New steering wheel with stator smaller and lighter, thus reducing the electromagnetic braking effect to improve engine performance.
