Miquel Gelabert finished in tenth position in the Belgian GP, having to complete the second half of the last lap with a very strong blow after falling from the top of zone nine in a step that he was unable to overcome. Miquel had the courage to finish the race by chopping all the areas until he completed the second lap.
In the fall, Gelabert hit the ground hard in the face, fracturing three bones above the jaw. Today, Tuesday, he underwent surgery to repair the damaged bones.
Therefore, he will not participate next week in the Spanish Trial Championship held in Pobladura de las Regueras (León) and is a doubt for the Portuguese World Championship, which will take place the following week, July 12 and 13.
Miquel Gelabert is currently tenth in the TrialGP World Championship.
