Vertigo Motors changes ownership and begins a new stage

There is no information with an official statement on the matter, but trusted sources from Trialworld assure us that in the days before the end of 2024, the sale of Vertigo Motors by its current owner and founder, Manel Jané, would have been consolidated.

This event would have occurred for strictly personal and health reasons. Although the market situation is complicated and Vertigo’s product is very exclusive, the work done by the brand to date has been impeccable, having developed a high-quality motorcycle, equipped with one of the most advanced technologies in the sector.

NEW OWNERS: MARC COLOMER AND JOSEP SERRA “XIU”

At the moment there has been no official communication from the new owners, but as Trialworld has learned, there would be at least two big names: Marc Colomer and Josep Serra, better known as Xiu, Owner of X-motor Europe Services. Xiu is one of the most renowned engineers in trials, with projects in practically all current brands over more than 20 years. It is not defined whether a third partner enters the equation.

Within the purchase plan of Vertigo was Sherco until the last moment, which wanted Vertigo to have a “more premium” brand above the Sherco range, changing the current approach of both brands a little.

The future plan, without being official, would revolve around the following points:

· Maintain the continuity of the brand under the current terms, preserving the Vertigo name and the existing range, with trial as the key point of the new project.

· Expand the range of models, possibly with other offroad and mixed segments that allow an expansion of the brand. This is a path that began with the Vertigo Linko.

· Possible focus on the development of new electrical products.

The most important thing about this news is that Vertigo has found a witness to continue expanding the brand, putting a stop to the great work done by its founder.
