Triumph acquires OSET Bikes to boost its off-road presence

The British brand Triumph Motorcycles has acquired OSET Bikes, known in the trial sector for being a pioneer brand in the manufacture of children’s electric motorcycles.

This purchase is made in the context of a strategic plan by Triumph to focus more deeply on the off-road motorcycle segment. It is known that the brand is working on the development and launch of an enduro range, so the arrival of OSET Bikes gives them a plus of knowledge and market opening in the field of trial and children’s enduro.

It would not be unreasonable to think that OSET Bikes could manufacture motorcycles focused on adults in the future. Right now in the catalog we have versions with 12″, 16″, 20″ and 24″ wheels. The latter, at the limit between the ages of child and adult.

Ian Smith, CEO of OSET Bikes, said: “We are now better positioned to continue to innovate and develop our entire range, while benefiting from the safety and market position that Triumph can offer OSET
