Toni Bou’s injury confirmed

The Repsol Honda Team rider will be sidelined for at least three weeks following a crash at Le Mans yesterday, where he fractured three vertebrae.

Toni Bou
suffered a major crash last Sunday night while competing in the X-Trial at Le Mans, France. The Repsol Honda Team rider hit his back hard against a concrete element, forcing him to withdraw from the event to be examined at the hospital in Le Mans.
Today, Monday, after the medical tests carried out by the team doctor Joaquim Terricabras at the Consell Català de L’Esport and the Creu Blanca Clinic in Barcelona, it has been learned that Toni Bou has a fracture of the right transverse process of the lumbar vertebrae L2-L3-L4.
Dr. Terricabras has recommended sports rest to the rider and estimates that the evolution of the injury will mark the return to activity, although it is estimated that it will not be less than a minimum of three weeks.
