DECLARATIONS
Toni Bou

“The race was very easy, although we understand that they had to change some areas for environmental reasons. In the first sections you could have made a mistake and even more so considering that it rained yesterday, but the second lap was totally dry, much easier.
I’m happy to finish a race at zero, it’s been a long time since I’ve managed to do that, although we think CET has to be more complicated. Regarding the championship, with this victory, it’s very well faced, we’ve taken a big step forward. But in Cordoba there will be a lot of points at stake, although only a misfortune could take the title away from us because we arrive with a lot of margin.”

Jaime Busto

“Everything went pretty well today. The sections were not very complicated, although at the beginning they slipped quite a bit and that made us score some points. In the end we finished the second half of the season at zero. We are very happy with this second place and for having finished the second lap without any mistakes. This result keeps us in the fight for the title. We will continue to be strong in the last round in Peñarrolla to try to fight for the victory in a race that will count double”.

Jeroni Fajardo

“At the beginning the sections were wet, but as the terrain dried, it became easier and the riders in front made fewer mistakes. For my part, I started a bit badly, with a five in the first section that prevented me from fighting for the victory. Despite this, we kept pushing to get on the podium. The last round has double points, so we’ll put everything on the line in Cordoba.”
