Toby Martyn announces a change of scenery for the 2023 season, ending his time as a TRS Motorcycles rider, where it had factory support through the brand’s importer in the UK, for join Montesa with the support of Honda UK and Jitsie, among other sponsors.
Toby Martyn, the 2021 Trial2 World Champion, moved up to the top flight in 2022, where he finished eleventh. For the British rider it is not the first time he has ridden a Montesa Cota 4RT, as in 2018 he was runner-up in the Trial2 world championship with a Montesa Cota 300RR.
Toby Martyn: “I feel like I’m coming home. I’ve always had fond memories of my time with the RG and Jitsie team when we fought for the Trial2 world title in 2018. I look forward to writing the next chapter of my career and I’m very happy to be working with the team at Jitsie and Montesa again.”
