Benoit Bincaz signs as official Sherco Factory Team rider

Sherco has announced the signing of Benoit Bincaz to be part of the Sherco Factory Team structure for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, ending the French rider’s time as an official GASGAS rider in the top category, a position already held by Jaime Busto.

Benoit Bincaz faces 2023 as a year of confirmation in his physical recovery. The Frenchman went through serious back problems that kept him in the dry dock during the last part of 2021 and the beginning of the 2022 season, forcing him to give up the French national title achieved in 2021 and curdling a 2022 still far from his usual performance.

Bincaz will be part of the Sherco Factory Team in the highest category, TrialGP, sharing the structure with Jeroni Fajardo and Alex Canales (Trial2).

While the Sherco brand is not new to Bincaz, the 2023 Sherco STR will be, which debuts a completely revamped bike, with electronic injection, which has not yet debuted in top competition.

For Bincaz: “It is an honour to be reunited with this factory, which has already accompanied me in the first steps of my professional career. What better way to represent France than riding a French motorcycle! I want to thank the entire Sherco team for their trust in me.”
