A week before the start of the 40th edition of the “3 Days Trial Santigosa” (22nd, 23rd and 24th April Sant Joan de les Abadesses – Girona) we can already announce the latest news:
• Takahisa Fujinami (3rd place in the 2010 Outdoor World Championship) has confirmed his participation in the 3DTS.
• Luis Gallach , winner of 5 editions of the 3DTS during the nineties, will participate again in the 3DTS, this time with the support of the world championship rider Albert Cabestany (official Sheco rider and 5th Classified in the 2010 Outdoor World Championship). who will also participate during the 3rd day.
• Jordi Pascuet is expected to participate, and if he wins this year, he would become the rider with the most wins of the 3DTS (he currently has 6).
• Registrations are going at a good pace and it is expected to exceed 150 registrations with outstanding participation of international pilots and the rest of Spain.
• With the name of “ THE ORIGINS” the Moto Club Abadesses wants to rediscover the initial philosophy of Trial and achieve a more agile competition by providing a more accessible and dangerous level of difficulty in the areas. In this sense, the “Non Stop” scoring system will be applied, this will mean an important change in the philosophy of the test, disappearing the variants with 3 levels of difficulty (black-red-blue)
• Vera Siebken, partner of the late Ricardo Pinet, will provide the daily departures of the pilots.
Friday, April 22:

• During the awards ceremony at the Teatre Centre at 6 p.m. Tribute to Ricardo Pinet, our Race Director uninterruptedly since the first edition in 1972.
• Presentation of the 1st Ricardo Pinet Trophy to the highest-ranked young rider
• Work is underway to ensure that a group of the main riders who have marked the history of the 3DTS will take part in the Trial on Sunday, Manuel Soler has already confirmed his presence.
