With a large number of entries, this race was held to start the national Classic Trial. Tarragona was the city that welcomed the more than 70 registered participants who put all their meat on the grill to offer a great show.
The Moto Club Tarragona was in charge of organizing the event and made everything necessary available to the riders. With low temperatures but with the sun as a witness, the participants fought for the podium positions.
The Trial had 10 two-lap sections. In the Pre75 Amarillos category, José María Martínez Anaya did a great job and went home with the victory and with only 1 point on his scoreboard. Jordi Tubau was second with 10 and Jesús Ignacio Martín third with 11.
In the Classics , the winners were Vicente Ríos, Fernando Cabré and Juan Domingo Miguel. The first two fought to win and got 1 and 2 points, respectively. Miguel added 11.
Francisco Aldecoa, Alex Sánchez and Rafael Sirvent climbed the podium in this order in Tarragona in the Pre78 Verdes category. His points were 5, 6 and 8 each.
In Trialeros José Dasí, with 3, took the victory, followed by Manel Campoy, with 5, and Lluís Díaz, with 6. Finally, in Experts, Lluís Gallach nailed it and scored 0 points. Francesc Ciurana was penalized with 5 and Diego Urreta with 8.
After the success of this first race in which everyone finished very happy with the start of the season, the next one will be held on March 29 in Bocairent, Valencia.
