The World Cup arrives in Scotland

arrow400This coming weekend the 2011 SPEA FIM Trial World Championship arrives in the town of Lochside in Fort William, Scotland, for the sixth round of the race. We are entering the final stretch of the championship, although there are still 5 races to be held in 4 different scenarios and there are 100 points at stake to be distributed. Therefore, nothing has been decided in any of the categories, although everything points to Toni Bou, winner of all the races except one, being able to renew his world crown.

The fight for the runner-up position and third place is tighter, as Cabestany, Raga and Fujinami can cause a surprise. However, the key will be what happens in Japan, which is once again played in two separate rounds and where there are 40 points at stake. Cabestany has already announced that he will not be in Japan, while Bou is forced to go if he does not want to put the title at risk, since Raga does not doubt his presence in the Japanese country.

The Scottish race on July 31 will be decisive, especially for the five leading riders, as there is not much room for manoeuvre and, given the equality of the last races, any mistake is very costly. In Trialworld we will be very attentive to what happens on Sunday in Scotland.
