The Primavera del Trial project is born

farreWith the aim of promoting the practice of this specialty and recovering the spirit of the National Trial School, “La Primavera del Trial” was born.

The Spanish Trial is one of the most successful modalities for motorcycling in this country. In past years, the National Trial School was always launched but, unfortunately and for economic reasons, it stopped being held. Now, with the arrival of the new president of the RFME, Mr. Àngel Viladoms and the great help of the SPEA company with Mr. Luciano Bonaria at the helm, the Federation presents “The Spring of Trial”.

It is a project aimed at young pilots. The idea is to train with them, guide them at the beginning of their career and help them grow as athletes. The chosen ones are all under 16 years of age and participants of the Spanish Trial Championship in this 2012 season. Jaime Busto, Arnau Farré, Miquel Gelabert, Marc Riba, Adrián Villabrille, Julián Montalvo and Venanci Vidal they have qualified in the top five in the CET (in the Junior and Cadet categories) and some of them have had the honour of competing in the European Youth Cup 2012 achieving very good results. Jaime Busto was proclaimed winner of the 125cc class and Arnau Farré was seventh at the end of the Championship. They will all travel to Italy next week to do their Stage.

The workshop will last 4 days, from December 27 to 30. They will train hand in hand with the World Championship rider and regular in our national races, Gianluca Tournour. LThe Italian town of Volpiano will welcome you during your stay. This is Mr. Luciano Bonaria, one of the promoters of this project.

The decision to travel to Italy has been for the pilots to get to know other methods and terrain different from those they are used to in Spain. This will help them gain more experience and strength when facing the events in which they participate.

This stage is just the first in a long series. The project will continue with these and other pilots that will be incorporated in the future.
“The Spring
of Trial”, created by the RFME and SPEA, takes up the criteria of the National Trial School, aiming to work with a large group of young riders to help, as much as possible, their training in the world of this motorcycling discipline.
