The 2024 trial world championship has come to an end with the celebration of the Spanish GP in Ripoll.

With exceptional work by the motorcycle club for months of enthusiasm and effort, three large groups of zones were proposed.
The reality is that, despite the efforts and the shuttles proposed to take the fans to the areas, access was slow and it was difficult to follow the race on foot.
In the end, the complicated decision is either to hold a race in the best mountain environment and have a restricted audience, or the option of making mostly artificial areas and bringing the competition closer to the populations.

With Toni Bou already proclaimed champion in Cahors, the excitement was in the fight for the runner-up position, which was completely open between Busto and Marcelli, with Toni Bou as a key player to balance the points of the race.

On Saturday Toni Bou won, Busto was second and Marcelli third.
That meant that the distance for the runner-up position dropped from 7 points to 5 points.
An advantage that for Sunday was not significant, since in the event of a draw the advantage was for Busto.
On this second day of the race the last lap was heartbreaking, as we told you in the video chronicle, since everyone began to fail in the last sections and anything could happen, even with team orders.

Marcelli was settled in third place on the podium, but Bou and Busto reached the last zone with a four-point advantage, so a fiasco would ruin Gabri’s runner-up position.
Bou needed to go through, no matter what.
The whole Montesa team was with their hearts in a breath until Bou overcame the demanding entry step of zone 12.
Finally, Gabri celebrated a hard-fought runner-up finish and Busto, who started the season with problems, was on the verge of a comeback.

Fourth positions went to Adam Raga and Jorge Casales.
A good result also for Miquel Gelabert, fifth on Saturday.
