Spain wins the Trial of Nations for the tenth time

TDN2013After the girls, Sandra Gómez, Mireia Conde and Elisabet Solera, came second on Saturday in the women’s Trial of the Nations, yesterday Sunday it was the turn of the men’s competition. Toni Bou, Adam Raga, Albert Cabestany and Jeroni Fajardo were in charge of fighting for this prestigious title.

On Saturday, our three girls competed against 10 teams and only Great Britain resisted them, taking the victory with 16 points, compared to the 33 of the Spaniards. The girls had to do 15 zones for two passes and although they worked very well, the English penalized less. Germany climbed to the third step of the podium.

With the satisfaction of this result, on Sunday it was the turn of the four best riders in the world in this specialty and they showed why they are. Bou, Raga, Cabestany and Fajardo won with solvency in this edition of the Trial of Nations. The French fans were able to enjoy his mastery. On this occasion they did 18 two-lap sections and the Spaniards only penalized with 38 points, a far cry from Great Britain’s 127 and France’s 141.

There is no doubt that the Trial modality is the one that gives us the most joy and that is the result of the good work that is done from the base, starting in the regional federations themselves, organizers, Motorcycle Clubs, etc. and ending in the national federation.
