Oset Bikes, the brand specialising in
children’s trial electric motorcycles
, faces 2017 as a year of important innovations. In addition to the technological improvements, a new model appears on the scene, the Oset 24.0, which represents another step in the range of ages covered by the brand.
The Oset Bikes 24.0 arrives on the market after more than two years of testing and development on a prototype that already debuted as a concept bike at the Dirt Bike UK show at the end of 2014.
This is a trial bike powered by a 1,400w electric motor, equipped with a new controller, where it is possible to easily adjust power, response and speed, powered by lithium batteries. It hardly shares components with its little sisters and the brand has sought maximum excellence, especially taking into account the demand for size and technique of the pilots over 12 years old who will be at its controls.
OSET BIKES 24.0R JR
The Oset Bikes 24.0R JR is aimed at the junior trial market (80cc) and can compete in the Junior medium wheel categories. Of particular note are its 17″ x 3.5″ rear and 19″ x 2.5″ front trial wheels. The rear wheel allows better traction for trial competitions, and the suspension is regulated for young riders, with a maximum recommended weight of 60 kg.
The Oset 24.0R JR has enjoyed great success in its first year of the British National Championship, winning the D Medium category against 80cc bikes, third in C Medium, and third in the C Women’s category.
OSET BIKES 24.0R
The wheels are 19 inches and the suspensions have been prepared to support a weight of up to 90 kg. The fork has been entrusted to RST, being adjustable, and the shock absorber is signed by DNM. The braking system is provided by SRAM and it is a hydraulic system with 180mm discs on both axles.
