The news broke this afternoon through Pol Tarrés’ official Facebook page. The truth is that this news is quite a shock for those of us who love this sport and value the great technical ability and talent of the
TRS Motorcycles
rider.
Below we reproduce in full the letter written by Pol Tarrés himself and from here we can only wish him all the luck in the world in his new stage outside of high-competition trial. Hopefully he will at least keep the habit of training as a hobby.

LETTER FROM POL TARRÉS
Dear Friends,
After much thought I have made the decision that my time in trial has come to an end.
It has not been easy to come to this conclusion. Trial has been my life, my passion, it has given me good moments and others not so good but thanks to the people who have always supported me I have overcome them. It has taught me to respect my teammates, rivals and to value aspects of life as important as humility, effort and camaraderie.
For some time now I have been feeling demotivated, for personal and sporting reasons and I am not happy with what I do.
I take with me the best of the trial world, friends, rivals and above all a great fan base to whom I am very grateful for always being there.
Also tell them that it’s just a see you later. My intention is to undertake new projects within motorcycling and competition, with new spirits and surrounded by the great family formed by those of us who are passionate about the world of motorsport.
I want to thank my family, my friends for the help I have always received. To all the brands, it has been a pride to defend their colors and especially to TRS Motorcycles for having done everything possible so that this year it has been able to be in the world championship despite many difficulties.
Also to my sponsors for the help I have received over the years.
And I don’t want to forget all the backpackers who during my career have supported me and helped me in everything.
Special mention to Sergio Perez who has been by my side during these last years and to Francesc Ciurana who this season has supported me in everything.
And to finish a huge hug to all the fans and my followers on social networks, thanks to them I will move forward in this new stage.

LETTER FROM JORDI TARRÉS
Today is a sad day for me, Pol Tarrés, my nephew who I have seen start to take his first steps, his first strokes of gas, his first triumphs, has suddenly decided to leave the world of Trial.
As in all your decisions, I fully support you and if this is the path you want to follow, I will continue to give you all my support…
I just want you to do whatever you do, wherever you are, find your place, feel happy and be able to fulfill your dreams.
I can only thank you for trusting me 100% in all the projects during the last 10 years in which you have been present, with your professionalism, availability, good work and above all always willing to help.
