David Avendaño also shone and managed to get on the podium of this first continental round. In his case, the fight he had to fight for the third step was memorable, arriving tied on points with another rider at the end of the trial. The difference of zeros tipped the balance in favor of Avendaño, who thus won the duel and managed to start the European championship within the Top3.
Lorenzo Gandola finished 9th in the absolute category, full of top World Championship riders who also compete in the Trial2 World Championship. Leire Rodriguez was 8th in Women International.
