Pau Martínez is proclaimed Spanish Trial Champion 2019 in the junior category after accumulating the necessary mathematical advantage after the penultimate round of the Spanish Trial Championship, held last weekend in Sigüenza.
The young

driver has had a brilliant season, in which he has clearly been the best in the category after winning six of the seven races held, in many of them with great solvency and offering exceptional performance. Martínez thus adds another title to his great 2019 season, in which he has also managed to be proclaimed European Youth Champion.
In Sigüenza he achieved a very tight second place. On the first lap, perhaps a little nervous knowing what was at stake, Martínez made a few too many mistakes, closing with 8 points his first step through the zones that left him seven points behind the virtual leader. In the second he drove again at a sensational level, and with only one penalty point in his locker he was on the verge of a comeback, finishing with nine to eight for the winner.
