Lampkin’s new challenge: riding the Isle of Man TT in Caballito

Dougie Lampkin has set himself a new challenge at the controls of his bike, this time without trial areas. The aim is to complete the entire route of the Isle of Man TT on a wheelie on its Vertigo Combat and the date indicated will be September 24, in an event that will be televised live by Red Bull.

Dougie Lampkin will start the challenge at five o’clock in the afternoon, from the TT Grandstand with the aim of completing the longest wheelie in history, with a total of 69.7 kilometres.
To achieve this feat, Dougie Lampkin will need to spend more than two hours on a wheelie at an average speed of 32 kilometers per hour. Your bike will be modified for the occasion.
In order to ensure that no one obstructs Lampkin’s route, a special permit has been requested from the local authorities to free up a lane from 17:00 to 20:30.
According to Lampkin himself: “This started as an idea several years ago, and now it’s a reality thanks to the support of Red Bull once again. As in everything I do, I will give 110% to give the best of myself and make this challenge a success.”
