The signing of Laia Sanz by the official Gas Gas team will not only affect the Trial, the main specialty of the Spanish rider, but she will also race in Raids and Enduro with the Girona brand. In this way, the eleven-time world champion sets herself a new professional and sporting challenge after having won practically everything throughout the 2011 season, where the most significant has been her victory in the women’s category of the Dakar 2011.
Before joining the Montesa team, Laia developed her sporting career at Beta, the same brand that saw Toni Bou grow up and with whom she has coincided in both stages. Now Laia will have Raga, the number two rider in the world and Bou’s main rival, as a teammate.
