Japanese GP Day 1: Bou wins

bou_japon_480Toni Bou took the first 25 points of the 50 that will be shared this weekend of August 20 and 21 at the G.P. in Japan, ahead of Adam Raga and Takahisa Fujinami. Tomorrow will be the second day of the race and after it there will only be a double French round, so there are still 75 points at stake.

Bou achieved a new victory thanks to the records of his second lap, which despite not being the best of the day, was enough to cut the point advantage that Raga had over Bou on the first lap and end up beating him by the minimum difference. In the end, Bou’s total 31 points gave him a narrow victory ahead of his main rival, with 32 points , who is showing the conditions and form to beat the reigning champions, as they have already done twice this season.

Third place, already far away from the leading duo, went to Fujinami, who starred in his particular battle for the podium with Fajardo, who finally blamed his poor first lap excessively and despite the efforts of the second lap it was impossible to chase down the Japanese, despite completing the 30 sections with a final margin of only one point.

We will expand on this information in the coming hours.
