Eddie Karlsson European Champion 2013 after winning in Sweden

Eddie Karlsson European The young Swedish rider is competing in the entire season of the Outdoor Trial World Championship in the absolute category, combining it with his presence in the European Trial Championship, of which he has just won the 2013 title.

In the last round of the European Championship, held last weekend in Sweden, Eddie was unable to win, but his second position after being underdog in the tiebreaker by the lowest number of zeros, was enough to win the precious title.

LUCA COTONE WINS AT HOME

Loca Cotone was the other big star of the weekend. The Swedish rider, highly motivated to race at home, was able to withstand the pressure until the end of the day and turn around a race that Karlsson dominated by five points at the halfway point .

The Norwegian, on the other hand, was clear that his goal was, more than the victory on that day, that the mathematics worked out for him in the face of the title. From this point on, Eddie felt more relaxed and completed the second and final pass through the zones with 22 points, exactly the same as Luca Cotone.

The final triumph went to the local driver in the final tiebreaker as he had two more zeros to his credit, not preventing this result from celebrating Eddie’s well-deserved title.
