The result of the intense work carried out throughout the year carrying out tests of fabrics, qualities, designs and dynamic tests with the aim of achieving an innovative product, the sneaker brand Ribó has presented us with the prototype that you can see in this report.
Ribó, the world’s No. 1 brand in trial shoes worn by riders such as Gilles Coustellier, Abel Mustieles and Jack Carthy , among others, has exclusively sent us a pair of what will be the model that has taken the most development work in the years dedicated to trial.
The goal of the brand was to To create a visually groundbreaking model. To do this, we wanted to capture designs in the shoe itself, with the intention to be able to make fully customized and high quality models. The period until finding the right fabric and procedure for the printing to withstand the stresses of the trial has been long and many tests have been discarded.
Here we present the prototype (some improvements will still be made), of what will be a new era in the design of trial shoes. The model sent has several curiosities. The first is the spectacular feel of the fabric, as it comes with a layer of protection and printed on a never-before-used fabric.
It is lighter than the materials with which the brand’s models were usually made and tremendously comfortable. It bends very easily and has a very high strength. At the moment as we say it is a prototype, but in a very short time it will be available in several colors and even customizable. Undoubtedly, a great step forward for the leading brand in the world of cycling trial footwear.
