Chronicle of the National Cup of Classics in All

dot400 3The second round of the national Classic Trial is over. Within each event, two days of competition are held, making the two-day Trial with independent scores. The test took place over the municipalities of Isòvol, Ger, Meranges and Bellver and the paddock was located in the Celler d’All.

Throughout the weekend, the drivers completed 20 different zones prepared by the MC80. The Classic Yellow, Expert Blue and Trialist Green categories had a large number of entries who enjoyed the weekend very much.

With the classification by coefficients, the zones are simpler and both the age of the motorcycle and its originality become essential factors for the classifications. On Saturday in Classic Yellows, José María Martínez Anaya, Xavier Mirabet and Rafael Sanromá were the first three.

 

Both José María and Xavier had a 0.7 coefficient and Martínez’s 7 points lifted him to the top step of the podium. Miravet was penalized with 10 and was second. For his part, Rafael had a coefficient of 0.85 and his 17 feet took him to third position.

In Verdes Trialeros Xavier Ribot outperformed his category rivals and was the best with 15 points and having a coefficient of 0.7. José Buixó was behind Ribot and was penalized with 19 points. Joan Farrés was the rider who qualified third. He went home with 17 points due to his 0.85 coefficient and 20 feet.

Ramón Membrives, Salva Vilella and Joan Rovira were on the Catalan podium on Saturday in the Expert Blues category. Ramón had a coefficient of 1’3 and his 15 feet made him climb to the first place. Salva did a great job as he had a high coefficient. 1’15. He scored 18 points and took the second-place trophy. Joan had a low coefficient (0’7) but made 33 feet to take third.

On Sunday, in different zones, José María Martínez Anaya won again with a total of 5.60 points. Rafael Asins was second with 10’20 and Francisco Salmerón third with 11’50. In Verdes Trialeros, José Buixó took the victory. He had a coefficient of 0.7 and the 14 penalties earned him 9.80 points. Joan Farrés was second with 13’60 and Francis Ramón third with 13’80.

Finally, in the Expert Blues, Joan Rovira, Salva Vilella and Ramón Membrives qualified in the first three positions. All of them were also on the podium on Saturday, but on Sunday each one occupied a different position except for Salva who repeated as second. Joan scored 10’50 points, Salva 12’65 and Ramón 13’00.

On June 29, the Classics will return to action in Alcanadre, La Rioja, with MC Calahorra.
