Barcelona Indoor Trial 2017 Presentation – 5 February

The Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch was the setting chosen for the presentation of the 40th edition of the Indoor Solo Moto Trial in Barcelona, the inaugural round of the FIM X-Trial World Championship, which will be held on 5 February at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

World champions Toni Bou

, Adam Raga, Albert Cabestany and

Takahisa Fujinami

, along with Jeroni Fajardo

, recalled their best moments and spoke about their expectations. Everyone will face a new edition rich in emotions and challenges. Everyone wants to win! Today they were accompanied by two trial legends: the first winner of the Solo Moto Indoor Trial in Barcelona, Jaume Subirà and none other than Jordi Tarrés.
The Sports Commissioner of the Barcelona City Council, David Escudé, thanked “the will of visionaries such as Jaime Alguersuari. Thanks to private initiatives and public support, Barcelona has become the world capital of sport. We are also celebrating, the 25th anniversary of the Olympic Games!”
Jaime Alguersuari, executive president of RPM-MKTG and creator of the Indoor Trial, stressed “the importance of knowing how to surround myself with people who knew how to make my dreams possible, as Pere Pi and Joan Bordas did in ’78. I was the hand that rocked the cradle and all these pilots who are with us today are the true heroes, like those of Marvel! I call on all grandparents to exercise their role and bring their families to remember 40 years of history!!”

Trial, as close as it was then!

The 40th anniversary will feature a large exhibition of historic motorcycles, the signature of legendary riders who won the Trial Indoor Solo Moto de Barcelona, and a very emotional central event where 47n of the 80 riders present at the 40 editions of the Barcelona Indoor Trial will participate, with a nod to Scotland, mythical land of trial par excellence.
From a sporting point of view, the track designed by the Palau Sant will have a certain similarity to last year’s but with more proximity: for the first time the extendable stands of the Palau Sant will be used and spectators will enjoy an area integrated into the stands with stones and water in the form of a waterfall!

Prices for all fans

Ticket prices are also very popular, starting at €15 and children’s discounts of €3 on all tickets except the Gold Pass, the most exclusive seat with a guided tour of the pits, parking, catering, souvenir t-shirt and a seat near the track!
