Albert Cabestany
, current number seven in the world and one of the best riders valued in the last two decades, was unclear about his professional future in recent weeks, but he has finally formalized a contract with Beta to continue in the TrialGP World Championship at least through 2018.
Cabestany’s relationship with
Sherco
spans most of his professional career. Since 2005 and until yesterday, the rider from Tarragona has been the number one of the brand. The sum of several factors at the end of last season, starting with the dissolution of his trusted team, such as the Paxau Professional Retreat, new projects for David Sarriás or the new figure of sporting director for his trusted backpacker, Lluis Gallach, have driven the change of scenery.

Beta
is a special brand for Cabestany. He won the 2002 indoor world title and has raced for a total of six years (1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004). Now, probably, he has a new motivation and colors with which to continue promoting his last great stage as an elite rider, which we trust will be extensive.
For the time being, Cabestany will be at the controls of his
2018 Beta EVO
in the TrialGP World Championship and the Spanish Trial Championship.
