Adam Raga and Toni Bou alternate victories in Japan

Alternating victories for Adam Raga and Toni Bou at the Japanese Grand Prix. If on the first day
Raga got the first victory for TRS
after a spectacular performance, on the second day of the race the great protagonist was Toni Bou.
The world champion suffered yesterday on the bike due to the after-effects of his shoulder injury and the hardness of the sections, but today he was able to overcome and consolidate the provisional lead after two Grands Prix.
The rain that fell last night scared those responsible for the race, who made the areas more accessible to avoid big crashes like Takahisa Fujinami’s yesterday, which has also caused the scores to be somewhat lower and the current leader has been able to feel more comfortable despite not being at 100%.

Toni was satisfied at the end of the race: I’m very happy with this Japanese Grand Prix. It rained at night and they changed some areas, which were a bit easier. In addition, physically I have improved; I’ve noticed that I feel better on the second day and I’ll have to take that into account, because I don’t notice so much pain in my shoulder. Today’s win was very important and, as things have gone the last month, I’m super happy to be at the top of the standings with a 5-point advantage.
On the podium he was accompanied by Adam Raga and a great Takahisa Fujinami who disputed the second place in the TRS team, signing an exceptional performance in his home race, in front of HRC, on the day where he celebrates his 300th Grand Prix after 21 seasons. The Japanese rider had an impressive career.
Throughout these 300 World Championship participations, Fujinami has accumulated 4103 points, finished in the top 15 295 times and has 155 podiums (32 wins, 55 second places and 68 thirds).
Fujinami 300 gp trial
According to Fujinami: I’m very happy to be able to celebrate my 300th race in the World Championship with another third place. It’s fantastic. Today’s third is very different from yesterday, because today I was racing until the end with Adam for second. I’ve felt very strong. Yesterday maybe I had my head a little lost, but today ‘Fujigas’ is back. I’m very happy with how it went, and on the podium I’d like to remember that I couldn’t have made it this far on my own. The public, my fans, sponsors, the team and Honda… This success is very important to me and I have everyone to thank for that.
In the Trial 2 category very close results. On this second day, the podium was taken by three British riders: Dan Peace, Iwan Roberts and Jack Price. The best Spanish rider was Arnau Farré, who missed out on the podium in the points play-off with Price.
The next round of the FIM Trial World Championship will be held in Germany in a month’s time. On May 28 and 29, the city of Gefrees will host the third Grand Prix of the season. The national riders, however, will first compete in the second round of the Spanish Championship in Sigüenza, on May 15.
