A heavy accident prevents Jorge Casales from competing in the CET de Arteixo

Jorge Casales has not been able to take the start in the first scoring round of the 2021 Spanish Trial Championship, held in the town of Arteixo in A Coruña.

During Saturday’s day, the official GasGas rider suffered a heavy fall when he was travelling to the training area in his GasGas TXT GP 2022, causing the immediate transfer of the Galician to the hospital, previously stabilised by the medical team proposed by the organisation.

At first, Jorge complained of severe back pain and mobility difficulties. Once admitted to the hospital and the corresponding tests were carried out, it was confirmed that the pilot did not suffer any fracture and the balance of the accident was polycontusions in the vertebral area and ribs, as well as a small internal effusion.

It is hoped that this will not prevent Jorge from being in the debut of the Trial World Championship and in the second round of the CET.
