Miquel Gelabert and Vertigo Motors have announced the signing of a contract as an official driver for 2024, after having competed in 2023 as a private driver with this brand.
Miquel Gelabert and Vertigo’s relationship dates back to 2020, when after leaving Sherco, he formalized a contract for two seasons with the Spanish brand, of which only the first was fulfilled, as both parties later agreed to terminate the contract. It was then that Miquel signed for GASGAS, finishing the season with a private structure and confirming himself as an official rider at the beginning of 2021.
The end of this idyll took place at the end of 2022, when Gelabert announced his momentary retirement as a trial rider due to illness. It was then that he began a short immersion in enduro, which later gave way again to the situation of last season, where he completed the second part of the world championship as a private rider supported by VERTIGO.
Following this announcement, in 2024 Miquel Gelabert will be part of the official VERTIGO MOTORS team, participating in the Spanish Trial Championship in TR1 and the TrialGP World Championship.
