Vertigo Motors has presented a new edition of its children’s trial bike, the Vertigo Mini Nitro, which replaces the Vertigo Mini Vandal in the catalog, positioning itself as the only traditional alternative with a two-stroke combustion engine and 50cc displacement.
The production of this children’s trial bike is maintained in two different sizes:
- Vertigo Mini Nitro 16″: this version is designed for the first stage of initiation, with ages between 4 and 6 years old. It is a very easy bike to ride, docile and with all the necessary safety systems to take the first steps in the world of motorcycles.
- Vertigo Mini Nitro 20″: differs from the Mini Nitro 16″ in mechanical components and also in the front suspension, which is longer and has more travel. At the rear, the swingarm is longer than on the 16″. This Vertigo Mini Nitro 20″ is designed for ages between 6 years and 10 years old.

The Vertigo Mini Nitro is a trial bike designed for initiation to the specialty, maintaining the traditional values that have accompanied the children’s explosion motorcycles of recent decades, such as ease of riding and smooth power delivery at the same time as linear.
Rounding out this 50cc two-stroke mechanics, where you don’t have to worry about the range (2 liters of gasoline capacity) as in an electric motorcycle (you can refuel dynamically), we have a very current chassis part that does coincide mostly with what we find in its electric namesakes, with products coming especially from the bicycle industry.
Thus, the new Vertigo Mini Nitro is among the lightest motorcycles in its segment, weighing between 21kg and 24kg, a very valuable aspect in terms of agility and maneuverability for the little ones.
Emphasis has also been placed on including all possible safety features: the brake discs are well protected and the exhaust has heat protective insulation in both the manifold and the exhaust silencer. On the other hand, the Vertigo Mini Nitro is equipped as standard with the ” man overboard” safety system so that the bike stops in the event of a fall.
The tyres are trial tyres and specially designed for this model.

Children's trial with 2T 50cc engine
As we mentioned earlier, the mechanics of both versions (16″ and 20″) are equipped with a 50cc two-stroke engine with automatic transmission, so you simply drive by accelerating and braking. The engine is cooled by forced air and the power is by carburetion.
Another aspect to highlight is the renovation of the filter system, which completely prevents the entry of mud, dust, water and other elements that could cause mechanical damage.
