Victory and British title for Dabill

dabill_450 has mathematically secured his fourth British Trial Championship title , after beating his main rival, Michael Brown, in the sixth and final round of the race. The last step on the podium went to Ross Danby.

A nice fight between Dabill and Brown was expected at the Mitchell Trial (Wales), where Both drivers were separated by just two points in the overall standings. Consequently, considering that with the exception of one race, the rest of the victories have been shared between them, the emotion was maximum.

Brown took the lead after Dabill made a fiasco in the sixth zone of the first lap. This advantage lasted only four sections, as he would be the one who added the maximum penalty in the tenth zone.

During the second lap, with nerves running high, neither of the two drivers conceded points on their scorecard, so the winner should be decided according to what happened in the third and final pass through the twelve sections.

The excitement was at its highest until the tenth zone, where Michael Brown again made the mistake of the first lap and had to add three decisive points to his scorecard. Dabill withstood the pressure well in the same week that his renewal with Beta has been announced and won the race with 5 points to his credit, for a total of 8 for Brown and 23 for Danby.
