I still don’t know when or why I decided to embark on the project you have in front of you right now. I can only tell you that
Trialworld is the result of the passion for an unrepeatable sport
, where the special thing is not that it attracts large masses or stands out for its high production, but the quality and spirit of its loyal followers. At Trialworld we are going to work with a clear objective: to create exclusive, elaborate and quality content to enrich the fan.
Personally, I carry Almost a decade collaborating for important motorcycle magazines as a Trial specialist, thanks to which I have been able to get on all the mass-produced models since then and fortunately also to some official bikes, such as Bou’s Rev3, all the official Cota 4RTs and the 4T that Cabestany rode a few years ago.
In spite of everything, I think that all this experience would be incomplete if I had not worked as a correspondent for the World and Spanish Trial Championships, where I have been able to live intense moments that I will never forget, such as the very exciting race that proclaimed Bou Spanish Champion 2006, or Raga’s tension to withstand the title challenge by Fujinami at Spa Francorchamps (2006).
If I had to choose any of this, I would definitely choose Everything I’ve learned during those races with great technicians, such as Paxau, Jordi Granell or Dani del Valle; backpackers, such as Josep Banyeres, Didi Cercós, Marín or Yanic; And of course the “top” or not so “top” pilots, with whom I have shared great experiences and reflections.
Either way, none of this would have happened without my help. Family & Friends, who have managed to forge my passion and knowledge of this specialty being One more fan, but with the necessary qualities to communicate and transmit with criteria everything that is hidden behind these fun bikes and their environment.
I take this opportunity to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. To those of you who have participated, for your patience and motivation. To those of you who are there in a different way, for the trust throughout these years. To those of you who have just arrived, I would just like to say that this is your home; I hope that Trialworld will allow us to learn things day by day and help you to foster the passion for this great sport.
I end this presentation by giving way to two great characters of trial
that I deeply admire, without whom Trial today would not be what it is: Jordi Tarrés and Josep R. Paxau. De Tarrés would highlight his impeccable career, effort, dedication and willingness. Seven almost consecutive world titles are the best endorsement of an absolutely impeccable career. Paxau represents the other side of the same coin, where its tireless eagerness to learn, build, evolve and transmit continues to teach all fans lessons of all kinds, but above all of passion. Thank you both for trusting Trialworld!
