The top three finishers of the 2020 X-Trial World Championship

TONI BOU:"It's been a special and different season. We started it in November and we couldn't imagine how it was going to end. The season itself was very positive as I won all the races played, although I had to suffer because the Championship was more even than the results may show. It took a lot of effort to make a difference and they were marked in the finals. I've kept evolving and spotting the things I need to improve on for next season. I'm left with the victories and the regularity and I'm really looking forward to competing again and, above all, for all of us to be able to return to a normal life in all aspects, without risks to our health and that of our loved ones. This is the most important thing, that the nightmare that the world is experiencing due to the pandemic ends."

ADAM RAGA:"I value both the season and the runner-up position very positively, as I competed in all the finals of the races that were held and I was about to win some of them. I am happy with my performance and the way it has been reflected in the results obtained throughout the Championship and in the final standings of the Championship and I hope to continue in the same line when facing the 2021 season. I've been in the top 3 in the world for almost two decades and I've won four world titles, so I'm very proud of my career."

JERONI FAJARDO: "Returning to the final podium of the Championship satisfies me for two reasons: because I have returned to the final podium where I have already been in two other seasons and because it was a more than positive debut with Sherco, my new team. I started the season with a podium and I was about to end it with another as in Bilbao I lost third place in the jump-off zone. My 2020 season encourages me to keep working hard to stay there and improve and I'm really looking forward to racing again. I hope that the conditions for this will be in place as soon as possible because it will mean that everyone's health gains ground."
