The extent of Toni Bou’s injury in the DL12 Indoor Trial

Toni Bou suffered an ugly fall on Saturday, during the DL12 Indoor Trial in Sheffield, a competition that did not count towards the X-Trial World Championship, but which did bring together the main favourites and was an excellent first contact.

Toni Bou had a bad support on his right foot in a reception, after which he was able to continue with difficulty, with great discomfort. In fact, when facing the “Honda” area he again had a rather ugly fall when he collided head-on with an obstacle, but fortunately without consequences.

Finally, Toni Bou decided to withdraw from the final and undergo a complete evaluation of his foot, as the 2023 X-Trial World Championship begins in less than a month.

After the examination of Toni Bou’s right foot, no fracture or serious injury is observed, but there is a small injury to a tendon and a medium is slightly affected, which will keep the Montesa rider resting for a few days, who hopes to arrive in full physical condition at the start of the 2023 X-Trial World Championship at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on February 5.
