On the 20th and 21st of October, the Moto Club Abadesses will organize in Sant Joan de les Abadesses (Girona) the fourth edition of the “2 Days Trial Santigosa-Clàssic.” (2DTSC). This year, as a novelty,The 2DTSC are part of the new “Copa Catalana de Trial Clàssiques llarga durada” and maintain their international character for the third consecutive year. The More than 140 pilots from Catalonia, Valencia, Madrid, the Basque Country, Great Britain, Switzerland and France participated.
In the cPRE-65 we will be able to see in action the old Triumph, James, Ariel, BSA, Gilera,… and many of the motorcycles of the first half of the 20th century that have been part of the history of Trial before the appearance of the Spanish Brands. We would like to highlight the participation of the British Mick Grant (BSA) one of the legendary speed racers who made history in the classic Isle of Man race during the 70s.
The competition, which is reserved exclusively for Classic Trial bikes, will maintain the basic structure of the last edition: There will be a single lap of a 21 km circuit and with 20 different areas each day marked with 3 different levels of difficulty
The nerve centre of the race will be located in the lower courtyard of the Institut Escola de Sant Joan, next to the “Parc de les Mudes”. On Saturday, October 20, the verifications will be carried out from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and you will be able to see the motorcycles on display in the Parc Fermé
To see the areas, the most accessible sectors are:
• Sant Antoni sector: where the first group of zones will be each day.
• Collada de Santigosa sector: where there will be areas 10 minutes walk from the Collada following the indications. (Opening hours 11am-1pm)
• Stopovers of the Moli: the surroundings of the Monastery: estimated arrival time from 2 pm on Saturday and 1 pm on Sunday.
