In collaboration with the Circuit de Catalunya and the Catalan Motorcycling Federation, MOTOCAT organizes next Sunday, December 16 on the perimeter of the circuit itself, A very special trial that wants to be a party for riders, fans, relatives of trial riders and supporters of one of the most successful sports in the country.
Coinciding with the broadcast day of THE TV3 MARATHON and with the OPEN DAY organized every year by the Circuit de Catalunya, all the activities of the SOLIDARITY TRIAL will be aimed at raising funds for the FIGHT AGAINST CANCER, the objective of this year’s La Marató.
The Trial solidarity will be manifested with the 30 € that it will cost to register for the trial, But this registration can also be done by anyone from the public, even if they do not participate in the race, as a “zero row”, in exchange for this contribution they will receive a bib/scorecard, a neck gaiter and a lanyard, as exclusive souvenirs of the trial and its solidarity.
The Free access to the Circuit and its facilities (throughout the morning the Circuit’s bar, toilets, showers and medical assistance services will also be operating) from 09:00 h, and The trial will not have the usual regulatory rigor, to open it up to all ages and to any trial level from the most basic, it’s about filling the Circuit with trial riders and solidarity.
On the sporting side, the race will be for all trial bikes without exception (modern, post-classic and classic), with 6 two-lap zones and 3 levels: yellow, green and blue. registration starts at 09:15 h and closes the areas at 14:00 h; It will be then when all the trial riders will do the SOLIDARITY TOUR AT THE CIRCUIT DE CATALUNYA ON A TRIAL BIKE, being the first time in the history of the circuit that these bikes circulate on its asphalt.
In the course of the trial, the public will be able to walk through the pits and paddock of the Circuit, which will be occupied by the brands of manufacturers of Trial motorcycles (BETA, CLIPIC, GAS GAS, JTG, MECATECNO, MONTESA, OSSA, SHERCO/SCORPA and XISPA have confirmed their presence), shops and manufacturers of accessories and equipment (CLICE, DELAY/SECCIÓ R, JITSIE, LIMIT MOTOS, MIMBER, MOTING PARTS/MOTS, NON STOP BIKES, OFF ROAD BIKES, PLANET TRIAL, S3 PARTS, SCOTTISHTRIAL, SIXLYON, THE MAGICALS, V2 RACING PARTS…), motorcycle clubs or collaborating firms in the world of Trial (MOTOCAT, MOTOCLUB BSC, PUNT FRESC…), AND ENJOY THE EXHIBITIONS IN ARTIFICIAL AREAS SET UP BY THE INTERNATIONAL ORGANISER OF INDOOR TRIALS OCTAGON ESEDOS, THE HIGHEST LEVEL RIDERS (TONI BOU, ALBERT CABESTANY, JORGE CASALES, JERONI FAJARDO, TAKAHISA FUJINAMI, FRANCESC MORET, DANI OLIVERAS, ADAM RAGA, LAIA SANZ, CARLOS TRAVIESA), OR EVEN THE LITTLE ONES, WILL BE ABLE TO TEST ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES ON A TRACK SET UP BY MECATECNO.
Some well-known former Trial riders are also expected to attend, who will contribute to the exceptional trial atmosphere that the organisers want to offer to all fans.
With this large quantity and quality of ingredients and with the motto “Come do your best zero in the fight against cancer”, MOTOCAT wants to bring together in a place as unique as the Circuit de Catalunya, the maximum number of Trial fans from all over the world to highlight the vitality of this sport and the solidarity of its practitioners.
