Sherco unveils Adam Raga as 2024 factory driver

Adam Raga Sherco 2024

Adam Raga will remain as an active rider in 2024 following the announcement by TRS Motorcycles that it will not keep the contract with who has been its main rider since 2016.

With this situation, Adam Raga began to propose a continuity model from September, with negotiations with practically all brands and testing more than one bike.

The situation has not been easy at all. Adam needed to fit in the project, the bike, his sponsors and thus stay active with guarantees of remaining competitive. Among all the brands, SHERCO has finally been the one who has managed to seal a contract with Adam Raga, although there is no official confirmation by either party as of today.

There is also no information on whether it will be a contract for a season or two, but it is certainly a challenge with capital letters for Adam Raga, who in his sporting career has raced for GASGAS and TRRS. SHERCO premiered a new model in 2023, completely redesigned and powered by electronic injection, which for the moment is still in the process of maturation to achieve the desired point of competitiveness. There is even talk that Adam Raga could race with a carburetion-powered version, which is also possible that it will end up being marketed in parallel with the injection model.

In the coming days, the official presentation of the driver and the brand, which will presumably team up with Benoit Bincaz, is expected. There is no news about the whereabouts of Jeroni Fajardo, current official Sherco rider, but he could move to Scorpa, the sister brand, occupying the handlebars left empty by Jorge Casales, who will form a private team with TRRS.
